Hoax IRD Email 

There is a hoax email being received by a number of our clients today supposedly from the IRD.  Please delete the email from your inbox.  Do not click on the link provided in the email.  IRD will not ever send emails of this nature or request by email that you divulge any personal details in this manner.Please contact us if you do have any concerns or if you have clicked on the link.

The wording of the email circulating today is as follows:

After the last annual calculations of your
fiscal activity we have determined that you are
eligible to receive a tax refund of 609.30 NZD

Case ID Number: TX-6230-9792-9120-0127

Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 7-14 days in order to process it.
A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons.

For example submitting invalid records
or applying after the deadline.
